Tom D. Soumas Jr.
FOUNDER

Tom founded Agiosat Global Communications in 1997, as one of the original licensees for the North American MSAT System. He leads a team of satellite, media and IT professionals who operate teleport and media hub facilities globally, and provide engineered solutions through regional sales offices across the United States. Prior to Agiosat, Tom founded Skysite Communications, an American Mobile Satellite Value Added Reseller and one of the original Iridium Satellite Service Providers. Prior to his satellite ventures, Tom was involved in the aviation industry for 20 years. At age 21, Tom created regional carrier, Gem State Airlines. He also ran an aviation management and global logistics enterprise that provided flight department services for companies like Columbia Pictures and freighter services for Airborne Express/Purolator, FEDEX, and UPS.

Peter Konold
Vice President Government services

Peter has been with Agiosat Global Communications since October 2003. He has been involved in the MSS (Mobile Satellite Service) business for nearly two decades.  Prior to joining Agiosat, Peter was Regional Director of Iridium Satellite LLC, a global mobile voice and data satellite communications company. He was NA Regional Director for ICO Global Communications, a satellite communications company based in London, England where he was influential in developing the business plan for its product launch as well as establishing a base of service providers. Peter also held the position of Director of Sales and Distribution for Westinghouse Wireless Communications Company, whose equipment was part of the first MSS system in the United States.

wILLIAM SHEPHERD
VICE PRESIDENT MEDIA OPERATIONS

William Shepherd is a seasoned telecommunications veteran with more than 25 years of cross industry experience encompassing voice, video and data services.

Beginning with the deregulation of the telecom industry he has played an integral part developing major and national account strategies, carrier to carrier programs, CLEC and collocation business and related operational programs and systems for growing and emerging companies such as Allnet, Teleconnect and Telecom*USA and Continental Communications. Later he became the executive in charge of new and emerging businesses that were designed to integrated voice, video and data such as Optel, Aperian and GlobaleSoft where he was charged with shaping strategies, crafting initiatives, managing large strategic investments and leading teams.

Mr. Shepherd has extensive experience with emerging technology. He is the founder of Telco Television Corporation, National Telco Television Consortium and ViviCast Media all who are content rights management companies in the new IPTV and Over-The-Top Internet television space.

Mr. Shepherd has extensive management experience holding executive management positions such CEO at GlobaleSoft, Continental Communications, Telco Television Corporation, National Telco Television Consortium and ViViCast Media. He has held other senior level positions focusing on business development and strategic planning and visionary thinking.

MIKE HALE
DIRECTOR of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Mike joined Agiosat in August 2009 as Director of Information Technology.  In this role, he oversees all aspects of the Company's technology and technical staff responsible for guaranteeing world-class service to our customers.  He brings a wealth of experience in enterprise-level technology and security to his position.  Prior to joining Agiosat, Mike was an Operations Manager for a telephone company and support analyst for a large post-production corporation.
