VSAT Outdoor Unit

Agiosat’s VSAT systems have two elements - an outdoor unit and an indoor electronics. The outdoor unit is an antenna, coupled with an amplifier, known as a Block Uplink Converter (BUC).  The BUC provides the power to transmit from the customer site to the Agiosat hub via the antenna.

Amplifier - Agiosat uses an 8-watt BUC in standard applications to improve data throughput and provide enhanced power to overcome weather-related issues such as heavy rain.  Agiosat VSAT systems have the intelligence to sense any signal degradation, and automatically increases the power of the BUC to overcome the anomaly, then return to normal operating power when conditions improve.

The defi system features a unique patent-pending design that keeps the satellite system in place and operating in sustained winds up to 200 mph, thereby ensuring continuous communications under the most extreme circumstances. The Agiosat defi system comes in white and camouflage colors, as well as a heated version for ice and snow conditions. Learn more...

Agiosat Auto-Deploy, Mobile

Agiosat Auto-Deploy, Mobile

The Agiosat auto-deploy vehicular VSAT system is designed to be mounted on a response or command-and-control vehicle. With a stowed height of < 14” and weighing less than 200 lbs, this system easily mounts on trucks or trailers.  Most importantly, with Agiosat’s exclusive “One-Touch” feature, a single press of one button automatically deploys the antenna and brings the system electronics up on the network.

Agiosat Stabilized Antenna System

Agiosat Stabilized Antenna System

This antenna system is specifically designed for use on ships, boats and oil platforms. It is a unique system with a 1.15 meter dual offset Gregorian reflector housed in a 1.28 meter dome (Ku band). It is a full motion auto-acquire GPS-based control system support both Ku and C bands. The system has a full 360 degree axis.

Agiosat Auto-Deploy, Flyaway

This system features the same antenna and functionality as the mobile antenna except it is contained in three cases specifically designed to be shipped via land or air to wherever the system is needed. Just attach the antenna to the robotic arm with 4 captive screws, push one button, and the system is on the network.

Agiosat Portable

Agiosat Portable

This antenna system is designed to disassemble into easily transportable and/or shippable sections. This is a 1.2 meter antenna with a stand, reflector, BUC and associated parts contained in four shipping cases with a total weight of less than 180 lbs. The system is very easy to set-up, normally just taking minutes.

Agiosat Fixed

Agiosat Fixed

This fixed site 1.2 meter dish is the most economical of the Agiosat Systems available without sacrificing the full Agiosat suite of connectivity features. The system is ideal for applications where the antenna site is fixed, and not susceptible to severe weather conditions.
